Our Projects

YOUR TIME AND SKILLS ARE VALUABLE TO US

YKPM relies on a strong support network of volunteers. Our current volunteer opportunities range from digital marketing to business development (during this Covid-19 pandemic season, we are avoiding on-the-ground volunteer opportunities in Orang Asli villages).

If you have a passion to bring about change and have some time to offer, get in touch with us, and become a YKPM volunteer.

MAKING BUSINESSES WORK FOR THE POOR

OA Organik is YKPM’s current major project. It is a fair-trade community enterprise working in partnership with the Orang Asli in Malaysia (‘Orang Asli’ is a Malay language term which directly translates to ‘Original Peoples’).

This one-of-a-kind community enterprise ensures poor farmers share profits from the supply chain. OA Organik aims to build fair societies through fair businesses. It uplifts the Orang Asli from poverty and empowers them to conserve their culture and identity.

SPECIAL THANKS TO PARTNERS AND CONTRIBUTORS
